The minimum requirements for Schengen Visa travel insurance are mandatory and strictly enforced: the policy must provide a minimum coverage of €30,000 (or 1.5 million THB equivalent) for emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, and repatriation (medical and mortal remains); it must be valid across all 29 Schengen member states for the entire duration of your stay; and it must be issued by an insurance company that is accredited and recognized by the Schengen Consulates in the country of application.
